TECHBBQ

TechBBQ started out as a small BBQ gathering for tech enthusiasts and entrepreneurs back in 2013, in a park in Copenhagen. Over the years, it has grown and evolved into the largest and most hyggelig event of its kind in Scandinavia.

Each year, TechBBQ welcomes an increasing number of people from around the globe. The annual summit seamlessly connects tech and hygge, creating a setting where attendees meet innovative and groundbreaking startups, investors, thought leaders, and community players. Here, the latest trends are explored, meaningful connections are made in a cozy and vibrant atmosphere, inspiration flows from trendsetting speakers, and everything is topped off with a good old-fashioned BBQ.

In 2025, TechBBQ brought together more than 10,000 attendees at Bella Center Copenhagen under the theme ”Build to Matter”. The event explored what it truly means to build with purpose and to create lasting impact in a world defined by urgency, abundance, and constant change.

TechBBQ 2025 invited founders, investors, researchers, and policymakers to ask the essential questions: Why does this matter? Who does it serve? What impact will it have?
The conversations focused on how meaning and material must come together — how the choices we make, from the tools and technologies we use to the communities we build, shape our collective future.
